What types of services do you provide?

What are your visiting hours?
We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We suggest visiting when residents are typically awake and active between 9 am – 7 pm. You can find our visitation policy here.

What insurance does your facility accept?
We accept most major insurance companies including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Agewell, Cigna, Elderplan, UnitedHealthcare, Wellcare, Emblem Health, and more. Please give us a call to verify insurance at 516-622-7729
I would like to volunteer; how do I apply?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Cold Spring Hills. Volunteers are an integral part of bringing the feeling of home to the nursing home and its residents. You can complete the application directly on our website by hovering over the Contact option on the menu bar above and selecting Volunteer in the drop-down.
We are looking for employment verification, who do we contact?
You can submit your request for employment verification to our Human Resources department by faxing the request to 516-921-3095.
How long are people typically in your facility?
It is hard to say how long someone will be at the facility. Our goal is to get people rehabilitated and back to their life outside the facility as quickly and safely as possible. Depending on why the person is admitted to the facility, their motivation and efforts, as well as any physical or mental setbacks will factor into the length of time the rehabilitation process will take. Most people are rehabilitated and back to their lives outside the facility within 2-3 weeks.
What doctors come to the facility to see people?
We have a wide variety of physicians available to see people at the facility. We are always looking to expand this list and provide further services at the facility. Currently, we have the following specialties visiting the facility regularly to see residents including:
